Ambliopia

Westley has ambliopia. A big word for lazy eye. His right eye started turning toward his nose in late April. We've been to Phoenix to get him all checked out. His glasses have been changed to a much stronger prescription. He'll go back in a couple months to be re-evaluated. We may yet have to patch his left eye to get his right to do it's part but we'll wait and see for a bit. He likes his new glasses and reports less fuzziness in his vision. I haven't noticed as much eye turning today. We are relieved that there is no inflammation or internal injury or other cause for the floating eye. With the proper treatment using glasses and possibly patching, he'll be just fine. He'll also just as handsome as ever! We feel blessed.
